Customer Service Advisor/Receptionist

We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join a vehicle rental company.

If you are a good team player who loves working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, the role of Customer Service Advisor in vehicle rentals could be for you.

The role:
You will be involved in dealing with customer enquiries over the phone and face to face in our spacious offices in Bridgend. This will include discussing customer needs, booking the right vehicle for them, taking payments as well as checking the vehicles in and out with the customer. This will include driving vehicles to the handover area.
Every day is different. As well as supporting our customers you will also be involved in a variety of administration activities to ensure the business runs smoothly including responding to emails so key to this role is clear written and telephone communication. You will need to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, excellent communication skills and be able to develop a rapport with customers.
As we are a small team we are looking for the right candidate who embraces variety and will try new things. Most of your work will be PC based and speaking with customers however the successful candidate will also be required to undertake other duties from time to time so a can-do attitude is essential.
Other activities will include but not limited to ensuring vehicles are kept to a high standard, opening and closing the offices/site, liaising with our insurance company and breakdown agents, following correct processes for checking vehicles in / out including identifying any damage.
Knowledge of the vehicle hire industry would be beneficial, although not essential as full training will be given.

Hours:
We operate from 08:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays. Schedule to be agreed.
A typical working week will be 40 hours. However, this can be negotiated with a reduced hour contract also available. Additional hours would be available to cover holidays, sickness or seasonal demand.

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour
