Sales Development Coordinator

Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for a Sales Development Coordinator for a well established family owned company, based north of Bridgend just 5 minutes off junction 36 of M4.

Salary:                         £23 – £24 k per annum plus commission

Benefits:                      Pension scheme.

Profit related bonus

Private medical insurance after 12 months employment

Hours:                         34 hours per week, 9am – 5pm with 1 hour lunch finish at 4pm on a friday

Probation period:        3 months

Holidays:                     21 days per annum pro rata plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year up to 25 days

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with and Sales Director to help achieve sales to new and existing accounts
  • Contacting existing and new customers, cold calling
  • Take ownership of portable tracking accounts and sales
  • Social media updates
  • Data Input and record keeping
  • Provide high levels of customer care, escalating any problems that arise
  • Must be experienced in cold calling and comfortable with it.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and essential to be a team member.

knowledge, Experience & Skills

  • Previously worked in a business-to-business sales environment
  • Knowledge of Sage accounting package
  • Some previous sales experience is essential
  • Interpersonal skills, especially building rapport and relationships
  • Outgoing and enjoys relating to others
  • Proactive
  • Personal confidence, professional and self-belief
  • Comes up with ideas for improvement
