Operations Administrator

An opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of an Operations Administrator, working within the operations department.

The successful applicant will be reporting to the Head of Packing Operations & Engineering and will be responsible for the following key duties:

Main duties

  • Management and maintenance of labour efficiency data (data entry using Excel spread sheets).
  • Carry out weekly stock checks of components, stationery and consumables
  • Ensure suspended and back-order transactions are cleared daily
  • Ensure zero bulk at end of batch as required
  • Oversee rework production, ensuring that non-conformance paperwork is correct and raise other associated paperwork, including rework information packs
  • Raise and receipt purchase orders for both the operations teams and engineering teams and keep and maintain an associated tracker to monitor expenditure across both departments
  • Oversee the calibration of aerosol quality testing equipment
  • Update as required, the daily production boards

Essential

  • Experience working in a FMCG environment
  • Stock management experience
  • Purchase order creation and receipting
  • IT skills – Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
  • Thorough understanding of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system (e.g. X3)
  • G.C.S.E. Mathematics and English, Grades A*-C (or equivalent)
  • A proven record of completing tasks to deadlines.

  • Able to communicate effectively with people throughout the organisation

37 hours per week working 7am – 3:30pm Monday to Thursday (Friday 7am – 12pm)

Salary £25,000 per annum
