Job Description:
Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are seeking a Production Welder (MIG) to join our client’s manufacturing team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role focuses exclusively on MIG welding for production work, no TIG or fabrication skills are required. The position offers the opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on production parts according to specifications.
- Follow work instructions and maintain quality standards.
- Inspect and check welds for quality throughout production.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe and tidy workspace.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet output targets.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in MIG welding within a production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Able to follow instructions and work consistently to standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- No TIG or fabrication experience required.
Hourly Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours of work:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:15 PM
