Administrator/Sales

This is a temporary to permanent vacancy, with immediate start.

Working 2 – 3 days part time but may go full time.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephone & dealing with customers
  • Proactively selling services and  products on the telephone and over counter.
  • Organising transport for services, products and equipment materials.  Liaising with drivers, sales and yard Manager
  • Being the main point of contact for any queries
  • Managing  stock and communicating with the team
  • Greeting customers, suppliers, or clients in a friendly manner on reception
  • Keeping accurate records of transport requirements
  • Prioritising workloads
  • Managing fleet vehicles
  • Booking Accommodation
  • Data Entry

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of how to up sell and provide first class customer service
  • Transport/logistics experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good communicator and team player
  • A high level of attention to detail and pro-active approach
  • Sage Experience desirable
  • Flexible
  • To be able to multi-task and co-ordinate well with a friendly and approachable manner.

Salary up to £30,000 per year pro rata
