My client is a global company with headquartered in the USA, with regional offices in the UK, LATAM, and Asia, we support many of the world’s largest manufacturers and research laboratories across industries including pharmaceuticals, biotech, personal and home care, food, chemicals, electronics, and industrial sectors.
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities across Europe. You’ll prospect, engage, and consult with decision-makers across industries to promote services. This role requires a proactive, target-driven individual with strong communication skills and a passion for building relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage new prospects across target industries and regions
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and web research
- Qualify and respond to inbound inquiries to assess business opportunities
- Maintain and grow the CRM database with accurate contact and company information
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their asset management needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate client meetings and proposal development
- Work closely with senior sales leadership to advance leads through the sales pipeline
- Represent the client at occasional client meetings and industry exhibitions across Europe
- Participate in regular team meetings with global colleagues
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, across European markets
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong prospecting mindset – a “hunter” who thrives on creating new opportunities
- Proficient in using online platforms and tools for research and outreach
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships
- Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to working with global colleagues
- Confident, competitive, and self-motivated
- Willingness to travel within Europe as needed
- Additional European language skills are a plus, but not required
Location: Home-based (occasional office visits required)
Salary: Competitive salary, based on experience + commission package
