What temporary workers can expect from JGR
Companies come to the JGR Group for temporary staffing solutions for a variety of reasons. Maybe the company is experiencing growth periods, completing special projects, or has employees away due to illness, holidays or maternity leave. Whatever the reason, your professional temporary help will be valuable to the company and ourselves.
As a temporary worker for the JGR Group, you have an opportunity to build your career and enhance your working experiences whilst having flexibility. Your period of employment may range from one day through to six months or more, and you can choose the assignments that work for you.
Not only do we want to see you placed in a job that matches your skills, we also want to see you enjoying your work. Being suited for a position is much more than simply having the skills to do the job. We want you to fit in with the company and people you work with and that comes down to personality and attitude, which we understand and take account of when placing you in your selected role.
Contract work
You may be offered employment as a contract worker. The period of employment will typically be decided at the beginning of the assignment and could range from six months to two years. Due to the fluid contract market, pay and benefits are competitive and comparable with permanent positions.
The JGR Group offers you the greatest choice of positions because our clients range from global companies to leading local firms.
In addition to this, the nature of contract work allows you the flexibility to decide how much time you want to spend working. This means you are in control of your working situation.
More for you
Working with us couldn’t be easier! Before we place you on an assignment, we’ll agree an hourly pay rate with you which you’ll receive for every hour you work, paid directly into your bank account weekly in arrears (less your tax and national insurance).
In addition, you’ll also receive up to 5.6 weeks paid holiday per annum and other benefits.
The Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) came into force in October 2011. This is a legal enforcement which gives temporary workers a fair deal with regard to pay and working benefits. For information on AWR .
