Job Description:
Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are seeking a CNC Brake Press Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC press brakes and will play an important role in the accurate and efficient production of metal components.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Brake Press machines (Edward Pearson & Bystronic) using Cybelec controls.
- Set up and run pre-programmed jobs according to production requirements.
- Ensure work is produced to the correct quality standards and specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings where necessary.
- Perform regular quality checks during production.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Report any issues with machinery or production to supervisors promptly.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC Brake Press machinery.
- Familiarity with Edward Pearson and Bystronic presses (advantageous).
- Experience with Cybelec control systems preferred.
- Ability to work accurately and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- No programming experience required -all jobs are pre-programmed.
Hourly Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours of work:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:15 PM
